The solar farm spans across 222 hectares of agricultural land, which was predominantly used for cropping prior to construction of the project.

On average the Wunghnu Solar Farm produces enough clean energy to power the equivalent of approximately 18,815 Australian homes, helping to reduce emissions equivalent to taking 39,342 cars off the road each year.

The Wunghnu Solar Farm has been fully operational since November 2024. The solar farm is owned and operated by Aula Energy following an acquisition in February 2026.
